Paul is a Principal at Banarra and has worked on numerous reporting, materiality, stakeholder engagement, strategy, community standards and assurance assignments in the property, telecommunications, financial, mining, energy, legal and service sectors.

Paul is a certified GRI trainer, a member of the GRI G4 working group on management approach disclosures and a member of the GRI G4 Practitioner's Network. He has written and contributed to four award-winning sustainability reports and has also written, edited and produced over twenty Annual Reports.

Trained as a scientist, he has worked extensively in the accreditation, standards and conformity assessment sectors, as well as holding senior roles in public affairs and corporate communications in both domestic and international contexts. Paul has undertaken over 30 AA1000-based assurance assignments, and more than 200 audits of healthcare, engineering and construction facilities as a lead auditor.

He has also delivered training programs on GRI, auditing, and materiality, both nationally and internationally.

Since joining Banarra, Paul has also worked on sustainable supply chain management and been a significant contributor to thinking around integrated reporting. He has co-authored two research papers and had over a dozen articles published on accreditation, certification and continuous improvement.

He is an experienced project director, trainer, team leader, workshop facilitator and public speaker.
